Chiedza Madzima is the Head of Operational Risk Research (Global) and also leads the South Africa Research team at BMI, a Fitch Solutions company. She specialises in Emerging Markets macro risk. Chiedza joined Fitch Solutions in 2015, bringing with her a wealth of experience in risk and supply chain management within the Africa region. She holds degrees in Actuarial Mathematics and Financial Engineering, as well as Business Management and Statistics, both from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. Chiedza has been featured in various regional and global news media, including Bloomberg, Africa Report, Quartz, BusinessDay, Engineering News, News24, and Africa Business Magazine.

Chief Executive of Ti

Professor John Manners-Bell has more than 40 years’ professional experience in the global logistics and supply chain industry, advising companies and governments on the transformation of the sector. He is CEO of UK-based market research consultancy Ti Insight and founder of the Foundation for Future Supply Chain. John has been Chair of the Logistics and Supply Chain Global Agenda Council of the World Economic Forum (WEF) and was the Expert Witness for the UK government’s Covid-19 Inquiry on PPE Supply Chains, delivering recommendations on how to prepare for a future pandemic. He continues to act as an advisor to the WEF, United Nations and other transnational organizations. He has authored seven books, most recently ‘The Good Supply Chain’, ‘The Death of Globalization’ and the award winning ‘Supply Chain Risk Management’.
