Overview

Dubai International Chamber’s office in Indonesia was officially inaugurated in June 2023. The launch builds on the longstanding ties between Dubai and Indonesia, and heralds the dawn of a new era of increased trade, investment, and economic cooperation.

Following the signing of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between UAE and Indonesia in July 2022, the value of bilateral trade between the two countries is expected to increase from around US$ 3 billion in 2021 to US$ 10 billion annually within five years. This rapid growth will be supported through the reduction or removal of tariffs across a wide range of goods and services, which will create new opportunities for exporters and companies in both countries.

Located in Jakarta, the international representative office in Indonesia works to strengthen economic cooperation between Dubai and Indonesia’s business communities by gathering first-hand market intelligence and facilitating bilateral opportunities. We offer a variety of services aimed at promoting and representing Dubai-based in Indonesia, as well as attracting Indonesian companies to Dubai.

Key services available include:

  • Comprehensive support for companies in Dubai and Indonesia to enter both markets and expand internationally
  • Business platform and events
  • Market intelligence and business strategy consultancy
  • B2B meetings, trade missions, and support
